How to Make Buffalo Cauliflower

Cauliflower is quickly becoming a go-to healthy substitute for a variety of meat dishes. Whether you are a vegetarian looking for something new or just want to eat healthier, buffalo cauliflower is a great and easy option for you to cook and enjoy.

This recipe takes about an hour to prepare and serves about 4.

Ingredients:

  • Olive oil cooking spray

  • ¾ cup gluten-free baking flour

  • 1 cup water

  • ½ Tsp garlic powder

  • Salt and ground pepper to taste

  • 2 heads of cauliflower (cut into bite sized pieces)

  • Your favorite hot sauce

Once you have assembled all of the ingredients:

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F

  • Mix the flour, water, garlic powder, salt, and pepper together in a bowl and whisk until the batter is smooth and somewhat runny. Mix the cauliflower in the batter until the cauliflower is completely coated.

  • Bake in the oven until the cauliflowers is lightly browned, usually around 20-25 minutes.

  • Remove the cauliflower from the oven and brush the hot sauce over each piece individually. Repeat this process until each piece is completely covered with a good amount of hot sauce.

  • Place the cauliflower back into the oven until it is completely browned, usually about 10 minutes or so. Allow the cauliflower to cool for a few minutes then enjoy!
