Meals You Can Prepare in Under 15 Minutes

Sometimes there just aren’t enough minutes in the day to do everything that you want to. Luckily when it’s dinner time, you don’t always need a lot of time to prepare a meal. If you want to prepare a meal yourself but don’t have a lot of time, here are a few recipes that can be made in under 15 minutes:

• Macaroni and cheese – This classic dish can be made quickly by just cooking some pasta in boiling water, adding a cheese sauce, milk, and butter. It may not be the fanciest meal, but it’s a great option for those who need a quick bite to eat.

• Steak and instant rice – Take a steak and season both sides of it with salt and pepper. Then, turn your stove on to medium heat, place your steak in the pan, and let it cook for about 6 minutes on each side. While your steak is cooking you can take a packet of instant rice and cook it in the microwave by following the directions on the package. Once the steak is ready, put it on a plate, add the instant rice, and enjoy.

• Hot dogs and instant mashed potatoes – Take a saucepan, fill it with water, and bring it to a boil on your stove. Then, when the water starts boiling place as many hotdogs as you want in the pan and let them cook for 7 minutes. While the hotdogs are cooking, start cooking the instant mashed potatoes by following the directions on the package. Once everything is ready, put your food on a plate, top the hotdog with whatever condiments and toppings you prefer, and start eating.
