• Lighthouse Point Bar & Grille – Located next to an actual lighthouse on Lake Sumter, this restaurant offers great scenic views. • City Fire American Oven & Bar – This restaurant has two locations in The Villages, one in Paddock Square and one at Lake Sumter Landing. No matter which location you choose, start off with one of their “Stoneflats,” which are their signature flat breads with appetizing toppings such as fig and prosciutto or turkey, pear, and Brie. Entrées include favorites such as bacon wrapped meatloaf, chicken parmesan, and filet with mashed potatoes.

• Las Tapas – This is not only a restaurant but also a brewery. The cuisine is Spanish tapas, meaning small plates that are meant to be shared. Choices range from cold tapas such as avocado filled with salmon, shrimp, and spring onions, to warm tapas such as empanadas and stuffed red peppers, in addition to a wide selection of soups and salads.

• Sakura – This Japanese sushi restaurant offers numerous types of sushi rolls, from traditional to deep fried. If you aren’t into eating raw fish, have no fear. Many of the rolls have fish or shrimp that are cooked, in addition to vegetarian rolls that contain no fish. Or, if you are an adventurous eater, you can enjoy rolls with sea urchin, octopus, eel, and even quail egg.
