How to Complete a Successful Fantasy Football Trade
During the fantasy football season, some of the players that you drafted are almost certain to either underperform or get injured. Making a trade is a great way to improve your roster and increase your chances of taking home the trophy. Some helpful tips that may help you complete a Fantasy Football trade include:
- Trading away strong bench players – If you have a player that is scoring a lot of points on the bench because you already have solid depth at his position, it’s a good idea to try and trade him for a player to fill one of your weaker roster spots. Only the players in your starting lineup can earn points, so making a trade is better than letting him go to waste on your bench.
- Looking for teams where a trade will beneficial for both teams – Look for a team that is weak where your team is strong and vice versa and offer them a trade that will improve both of your teams.
- Trying to take advantage of a team with a bad record – As the season goes on, some teams will find themselves falling out of playoff contention and may be willing to get rid of a great player for a bunch of lower ranking players. This may be a great opportunity for you to dump some of your bench players and really improve your roster.
