Enjoy a Night at the Auto Plus Raceway near Our Apartments in The Villages, FL

The Auto Plus Raceway in northeast Gainesville, FL, opened in 1969 and to this day, is considered one of the fastest tracks on the National Hot Rod Association circuit. Over the years, it has gone through significant renovations to its tracks and accommodations, including luxurious skybox seats set 50 feet above the ground over the grandstands and safer, sturdier racing strips.

A night at the raceway can be an enjoyable way to spend an evening with a loved one or group of friends. There are many different things to experience, including:

• Taking in the races from a variety of vantage points in the grandstands. With a race happening almost every weekend, there is sure to be something of interest.

• Enjoying the well-stocked concession stand, full of the perfect race night foods.

• Strolling through the souvenir shop for shirts, hats, stickers, and other memorabilia to commemorate the night.

• Taking a test drive down the drag strip. With 1.6 miles of asphalt, these roads have been used for law enforcement training, professional testing, corporate hospitality events, and for licensed drivers who want to experience racing their car in a controlled environment.
