Learning About the U.S. Supreme Court in Our Apartments for
Rent in Wildwood
In our spacious floor plans at PepperTree
Apartment Homes, there are many great ways to spend your time.
One fun way to relax in our apartments
for rent in Wildwood is by learning about the U.S. Supreme
Court. The U.S. Supreme Court is the highest court in the federal
judicial system, and it has been around since 1789. The court
has determined decisions in many cases that have shaped the
way we do things in America today.
The court always has nine justices sitting,
with one residing as the Chief Justice. As of June 2011, the
current United States Supreme Court Justices are:
- Justice Samuel A. Alito
- Justice Stephen Breyer
- Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg
- Justice Elena Kagan
- Justice Anthony Kennedy
- Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr.
- Justice Antonin Scalia
- Justice Sonia Sotomayor
- Justice Clarence Thomas
While the U.S. Constitution says that Supreme
Court justices can serve for life, they are allowed to retire
at will, and they also may be impeached and removed from the
court. Whether you like to keep up with the latest legal rulings
or you just want to know how our justice system works, you can
have an enjoyable time learning about this valuable branch of
the U.S. government and even impress friends with new knowledge.
